GRITTY CHERRIES ARTS EDUCATION
G.C.A.E. Gritty Cherries Arts Education aims to help foster and guide youth to feel a sense of ownership and accomplishment through the arts as a way to help them to realize their own potential without being threatened. The arts should be an expected study given to every single child just as academics are expected especially in a society where the arts are already a culturally-rooted background. Often inspired by a specific idea, focus, or theme, our collaborative experience opens the eyes of a student, allowing them to discover new talents in themselves, in the hopes we are helping to build a community around the world of artists who may not have access to the resources needed to excel in various areas of their lives. Art helps release energy, inspiration, endorphins, and motivation. Our goal is to create and develop an outlet for creativity and collaboration, to build diversity and connectivity in communities through art, and provide an artistically educational experience of collaborative learning infused with the tools necessary for creativity.
